The story behind the app

Made by a family who gets it.

My wife Sue and I love the Disney parks. We love the anticipation, the tiny traditions and seeing a plan turn into days the whole family talks about for years.

But we also know how much work sits behind those moments: dates scattered across calendars, booking windows in another time zone, wish lists, budgets, packing notes and plans that everyone needs to see.

WhimsyTrip started as the tool I wanted for our own family. I’m building it to help other families spend less energy managing the trip, and more of it enjoying why they booked one in the first place.
